Notes

  • Let them rest 2 to 3 minutes before cutting. Just like any baked dish, a short rest lets the cheese set slightly so the sliders hold together when you pull them apart instead of falling open.
  • Line your baking dish with parchment or foil. The butter glaze can caramelize and stick to the pan. Lining the dish makes cleanup a breeze and prevents the bottoms from over-browning.
  • Pat the deli turkey dry before layering. Deli meat can carry extra moisture that makes the bottom rolls soggy. A quick blot with a paper towel keeps everything structurally solid.

Storage

  • Storage: Store leftover sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Keeping them tightly covered helps prevent the rolls from drying out.
  • Freezing: Wrap the sliders individually or place them in a freezer safe container. Freeze for up to 2 months for best texture and flavor.
  • Reheat: Warm sliders in the oven at 325 degrees Fahrenheit until heated through. The oven helps keep the rolls slightly crisp while melting the cheese again.
