Turkey Sliders
These turkey sliders are the kind of easy dinner that disappears fast. Soft Hawaiian rolls are layered with juicy turkey, melty cheese, and a buttery topping that turns golden and crisp in the oven. They are warm, gooey, and ridiculously easy to throw together, and at a fraction of the calories you’d expect from something this satisfying.

Turkey sliders are especially popular during football season, holiday gatherings, and busy back-to-school nights because they are easy to make for a crowd. They are also a favorite way to use up leftover turkey after Thanksgiving or Christmas dinners. Warm baked sliders loaded with turkey & cheese are one of those comfort food recipes that work for just about any occasion without feeling complicated.
The best part is how customizable they are. You can switch up the cheese, add sauces, or toss in extras like bacon, caramelized onions, or pickles to make them your own. Deli turkey is a lean protein powerhouse, and by keeping the mayo light and the butter measured, you’re getting all that comfort-food satisfaction without overdoing it on the calories.

Ingredients

Recipe Tips
- Do not skip the glaze. The butter, Dijon, and Worcestershire mixture is what makes these sliders stand out from a basic sandwich. Brush it on generously and let it soak into the bread before baking for maximum flavor.
- Cut as a whole sheet. Resist the urge to pull individual rolls apart before slicing. Keeping the tops and bottoms connected while you layer everything makes assembly much faster and keeps the sliders neatly uniform.
- Cover loosely for the first half of baking. If your rolls are browning too quickly on top, tent a piece of foil over the dish for the first 8 minutes, then uncover for the last 6 to 7 minutes to let the tops get golden and crisp.
- Layer the cheese over and under the turkey. Putting a slice of cheese both below and above the turkey creates a melty layer on both sides that acts like glue, keeping the fillings from sliding out when you pick one up.

Turkey Sliders
Ingredients
- 12 count Hawaiian Rolls
- 2 tablespoon Light mayonnaise
- 3/4 lb. Oven Roasted turkey
- 6 slices Fat Free Cheddar Cheese
- 6 slices Fat Free American Cheese
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoon everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
- Step 1: Take the Hawaiian rolls, and cut in half separating the tops from the bottoms. Add the bottoms to a baking dish.

- Step 2: Layer the turkey over the bottoms of the rolls.

- Step 3: Layer over the cheese. Spread the mayonnaise onto the inside of the tops of the rolls, and replace the tops on top of the cheese.

- Step 4: In a microwave safe bowl, heat butter for 30 second increments, until melted.Add the Dijon and Worcestershire and whisk to combine. Brush this mixture over top of the roll tops, and sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.

- Step 5: Bake at 350 for 14-15 min, until tops are golden brown and cheese is melted. Cut the sliders around the edges of each roll, and enjoy!

Notes
- Let them rest 2 to 3 minutes before cutting. Just like any baked dish, a short rest lets the cheese set slightly so the sliders hold together when you pull them apart instead of falling open.
- Line your baking dish with parchment or foil. The butter glaze can caramelize and stick to the pan. Lining the dish makes cleanup a breeze and prevents the bottoms from over-browning.
- Pat the deli turkey dry before layering. Deli meat can carry extra moisture that makes the bottom rolls soggy. A quick blot with a paper towel keeps everything structurally solid.
Storage
- Storage: Store leftover sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Keeping them tightly covered helps prevent the rolls from drying out.
- Freezing: Wrap the sliders individually or place them in a freezer safe container. Freeze for up to 2 months for best texture and flavor.
- Reheat: Warm sliders in the oven at 325 degrees Fahrenheit until heated through. The oven helps keep the rolls slightly crisp while melting the cheese again.

Recipe FAQs
No. Any soft slider buns or dinner rolls will work, but Hawaiian rolls give the sliders a slightly sweet flavor that pairs really well with turkey and cheese.
Yes! Assemble the sliders (without the butter topping) and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. When ready to bake, prepare the butter sauce and brush it on, then bake as directed. Add 2-3 minutes to the bake time if baking straight from the refrigerator.
Avoid using too much sauce inside the sandwiches and bake uncovered for the last few minutes so the tops stay crisp.
